Surely the better quality these components then the more intense the light distributed will be. On average the amount of light emitted may vary significantly and the angle at which it is emitted varies also. In most bulbs the angle is only 15 degrees whilst in others it may be as much as 160 degrees.

These are considered to be among the most efficient type of lighting you could get today. At present most of these bulbs are able to emit about 30 lm/w of white light.
