TVI, also called Travel Ventures International: I started with TVI as the compensation program was great, the products seemed good, and the start up costs were low, just a $250 one time fee.
Pretty quickly people I talked to saw the great possibilities and they signed up with TVI as well. As my team grew that is when the problems surfaced. First it was difficult to get money to the company. Second, no person knows exactly who owns the company and that was starting to become troublesome. But the largest issue revealed was something that is hidden in the compensation plan. It is the way the boards break up which means your team splits away from you too. It was startling to see how quickly my team was on several compensation boards and my group was fragmented to such a degree that none of us could help each other.
On top of that when people from other teams are on your board and they determine to stop TVI or to refocus on their other positions on other boards then your board dies away. I immediately stopped recruiting into TVI as it rapidly became evident that the TVI corporate entity would make such an amount of money from people who became stranded on boards and the majority of the people joining would not make money, only the few at the top would earn the big funds. I feel like it is a TVI Express scam.
Pyxism: I was lucky to find Pyxism almost immediately. It goes without saying I analyzed their compensation plan more substantially to ensure they did not have the same trouble with boards splitting and team fragmentation.
